A Day in the Life
A favorite tv show had a two part episode where the first showed you what trouble the guys were getting into and the second episode showed you what mischief the girls were getting into during the same exact time but on the other side of the city. That’s sort of the feel we wanted to create with the page this week. It’s meant to be enjoyed in companionship with the page from last week. Where Mathan had a reflective, social sort of journey, Juniper had a decisive, highly productive sort of day- all whilst having a cub or two on the hip.
The halls of Ursinbury are built on the principle of “family first'” but that does not exclude individuals, male or female, from expanding their minds by engaging skilled craftsmanship. Juniper is an accomplished woman in every sense of the word (even Darcy would have to agree), and she prides herself on taking every opportunity to share these discoveries with her young cubs.
Eager for Mathan’s safe return, Juniper prepares a feast of celebration, complete with the most sought after Ursinbury meal, and Mathan’s personal favorite, stew. If you don’t understand why stew is the highest praise for the Bearkin, we describe it more in the coming posts on our Patreon page. I’m sure Mathan will quicken his pace as he catches a whiff of the savor smells floating down into the valley.
If you were going to plan a party, what food would you be sure to have?

I love this page! ❤️ It’s so great to be a mom, but a lot of work! I can appreciate the variety of domestic responsibilities and I love looking closer at all the details in the art work!

Alisha definitely fit quite a few fun details into the panels! I love the image of the little baby swinging between Juniper and Yedin. I can fondly remember doing such things with our kiddos when they were smaller.
