Good Friends and Sincere Thoughts

It’s important to remember that although the Bearkin have a complex society, they are not alone in the world. We get a sense for how wide and diverse the World of Bumps is as we follow Mathan on his journey home from the Harefolk. This page shares with us some of the food and peoples that Mathan and the other Bearkin meet on an everyday basis.

Like Mathan, we’re most eager to get home to Ursinbury so you can meet the rest of Mathan’s family. We think Juniper is going to be a favorite among some of our readers, but then again Yedin might just steal your heart away.

As another personal note, and you are likely beginning to think we have a birthday every week, but we want to celebrate another very important birthday for a very important young man. Since this is a parallel world to ours, with a civilization of bears sophisticated enough to create an entire city, complete with indoor plumbing in a cavy, we decided it was not too far outside of the realm of possibility for the chefs of the World of Bumps to have created pizza. Mathan has his favorite food stops along his way home, and he just happened to find his way to grab some mushroom and cheese pizza.
